Analyze how ideological messaging and propaganda were used to spread fear, dehumanize Tutsi, and justify acts of violence.
Explain how Tutsi families made critical survival decisions amid rising fear, misinformation, and deteriorating security conditions.
Analyze the rise of extremist militias such as the Interahamwe and their role in escalating violence leading up to the genocide.
Identify early warning signals and patterns that indicated the genocide was becoming inevitable.
