OBJECTIVES

Students will:

  • Describe the tactics used by rescuers to evade detection.

  • Analyze the physical toll of prolonged hiding in unsanitary, dark, cramped conditions, facing deprivation and illness. 

  • Discuss compassion required of the rescuers in protecting the Seminegas welfare.

  • Discuss the role of creativity in resisting genocidal systems.

  • Reflect on the emotional cost from deprivation, illness, darkness, silence, and the ever-present threat of death.
